Amy Griffin is the author of The Tell, a New York Times bestseller and Oprah Book Club pick.

Amy's journey to authorship is rooted in both personal transformation and professional entrepreneurship. As the Founder and Managing Partner of G9 Ventures  – a private fund that invests in generational brands – she has invested in innovative consumer brands including AG1, Bumble, Function, Goop, Midi Health, On Running, Oura, and Spanx, and has demonstrated a commitment to empowering women-led businesses. She is known for her ability to help build brands by fostering community, creating authentic connections, and solving problems.

Amy serves on the Board of Directors of Bumble and Spanx, and contributes to cultural and community organizations including the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Presidents’ Council of the Boys Club of New York, and the Advisory Board of the One Love Foundation.

Amy holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia, where she was a four-year student-athlete in volleyball. She lives in New York City with her husband, John, and their four children. Amy's memoir explores the transformative power and courage of sharing difficult truths and how the telling can lead to healing and deeper connections.
